ANNOUNCING:

BACK TO SCHOOL!! Well, it is August, and before you say “They dropped the ball again,” we left the golf scramble up on purpose since it took place last week. Thanks to our sponsors and players, it was successful. Be watching for a “Thank You” page in the future.

REMINDER:

This month, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Amarillo celebrates its 100th anniversary. Follow https://dioama.org for more details.

We are participating in a couple of Community Giveaways designed to provide some “outside of the box” thinking related to items helping families get ready for school. Watch for Facebook posts detailing dates and locations. A third one is slated for early October if you miss the two August rounds.

In September, your Catholic Charities is hosting The People Of Hope Museum. As soon as our advertising page is ready, we’ll link it right here.

For now, we’re sharing information related to the museum. As details take shape, we’ll push information out to you.

EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

Are you currently receiving our monthly newsletter? If not, it is easy to register. Use the link found right here to sign up. Just follow the prompts (and make sure to check the box at the bottom of the form). It is a great way to keep up with what has happened, learn more about our teams, programs, about the impact we have on the lives around us, and what is coming up soon.

Check out the dates for our other events in 2026. The list is ever-changing (it’s like an extra early “Save the Date…”). Keep an eye on our page for updates as they get closer. As soon as we have some details for 2027, we’ll add them to the board.

We are excited share our work with you as we collectively fight the many forms of poverty across the Texas Panhandle.

Events Happening Soon

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to make a difference! We are thrilled you are considering getting involved and excited to see you at any of our events.

Fore! Lets hit the links!! (Not the other golfers)

Summer is practically here and it is time to go back to school.

What, wait, NO!?!

Well, it is time to support the education programs of CCTXP with our 3rd Annual, newly renamed Golf Scramble, The Honor Roll Open. It’s the same fun event but repurposed to support our youth and adult education programs. Click HERE for more details.

If you’d like to sponsor, click Sponsor to go directly to that page.

Or, if you want to go directly to team registration, click Register.

I know, you probably do not care that we started a new fiscal year July 1. Along with the new year, we are launching a new initiative, The Power of $10 Club.

“What is that,” you might ask?

Well, it’s an easy, painless way to begin supporting the mission of Catholic Charities, if you haven’t before. If you are already a benefactor, just a minor increase to your already greatly appreciated monthly gift.

You see, the more support we can achieve via monthly giving makes all of our programs stronger.  It helps reduce our dependency on other funding that frequently comes with strings. We are in the process of building a separate donation page just about the power of $10. It will not only link to an easy online giving platform but will tell you how your gift impacts each of our programs. Eyes open for more details ASAP!

Experience the transformative joy and hope that come from serving your neighbors. We plan to host this free, immersive museum at St Mary’s Catholic Cathedral from September 25 to September 26.

Walk in someone else’s shoes, get the facts about poverty here in (STATE), and see how you can be the hope around the corner! Learn more and plan your visit at bethehope.us/4b4T2TY. The details are a bit slim today, but keep checking back as we roll out the plans for this interactive event. #PeopleofHopeMuseum #PeopleofHope #BetheHope

Thank you to all the sponsors of our events (Bubbles for Babies-2025, Fairways of Hope-2025, Monte Carlo Night-2025, and kicking off 2026, our Cheers to Change).

Please help us thank each sponsor listed on the following flyers for each event!
