Joseph’s Project

Joseph’s Project began offering services to pregnant moms and families with toddlers late in 2022. High mortality rates for both infants and their mothers drove the decision to open the program. Obstacles, including lack of health insurance, prenatal care, and general support, add unnecessary burdens to the moms and young families.Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle, through Joseph’s Project, commits its resources and expertise to facilitate access to crucial services such as insurance and prenatal care to reduce the number of deaths caused by a lack of the same. We are creating partnerships with healthcare professionals, counselors, and educators to build a comprehensive network that will fortify family foundations across the Texas Panhandle. We empower families through education and guidance and our focused assistance will be tailored to expectant mothers and families with children under three, encompassing healthcare, counseling, educational resources, and material assistance.

Through comprehensive and direct services, CCTXP aims to create a supportive ecosystem conducive to the well-being of both mothers and their children, where families thrive, guided by informed choices and unwavering support.
