You can help a young person change the world as we know it. We are investing in the next generation.
Catholic Charities has worked with refugees for the past fifty years. You may not be surprised to learn that the younger a person is, the quicker and better they will integrate into our society. The young people learn our customs and language quicker and help bridge the gaps with their elder family members.
We have several amazing opportunities for you to help us fulfill our mission of serving these children, young men, and young women. Please note, we will provide education-specific training to volunteers prior to beginning any volunteer assignments.

Help our Education staff administer the afterschool programs for homework help and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) stations at two locations Monday – Thursday
Tutoring
Help our Education staff administer individual or small group tutoring on an as-needed basis
Educational Mentoring
Assist our Education staff with special sessions focused on integration, orientation, and SEL sessions
Program Events/Summer Activities
As needed, will be communicated to volunteers as events and sessions arise
